Sammy Aboagye: Rising Figure In The Scene Making Moves

I was born April 11th 2005. As a kid growing up I loved everything about the entertainment industry and entertaining people in general. I was motivated by stars such as Ross Lynch, Zendaya, Cameron Boyce and Tyler James Williams. I grew up in a very religious Christian household and it impacts my faith today. My faith in Jesus Christ pushes me to fail again and again until I see my goals accomplished. I grew up having severe asthma so I could never play sports until it eventually got better. I wanted to play every sport imaginable when it got better. I played soccer and basketball but I found that I was exceptional at track. I was a varsity runner for my junior senior high school in 8th grade eventually becoming a school record holder in two events: 4x800m and 4x400m.

I ran Division 2 track and field in college but my mental health and school were getting in the way of being a good student athlete so i decided it was best to step away from it.

After getting a better grasp on schoolwork I decided it was time to follow my dreams again and pursue modeling and acting. It was hard to get started. No one wanted to give out their method there was no handouts given but I kept going, searching for a way into the industry, until I finally got a yes. After networking and building my portfolio, I focused on building momentum. I started out being nervous and after experience and hard work Is realized this is exactly where God wanted to put me and I’m exactly where I’m meant to be and this mindset started to reflect in my work as well.

I put this same energy into content creation and social media as well, putting up millions of views on Tiktok only within 2 months.
